Vizae India Beta Terms
1. How your face is processed
When you start a live session, Vizae sends your selected source photograph and live camera frames, including any faces they contain, to a rented GPU instance supplied through Vast.ai and operated by an independent hosting provider. The instance processes this information to create the transformed live preview and sends that preview back to your device.
Processing may take place outside India, in one of the countries listed in our Privacy Policy. The location can vary between sessions.
Vizae's processing software handles the source photograph and camera frames in memory without saving them to disk. After a session the rented instance is kept ready for a few minutes, for your next session only, and is then terminated and removed.
When you create a face swap from a photo or video, Vizae uploads your source photograph and the photo or video you choose to our cloud storage, then sends them to a rented GPU instance supplied through Vast.ai and operated by an independent hosting provider. The instance creates the transformed photo or video and returns it to our cloud storage, from which it is shown to you in the app.
Our cloud storage is located in the United States. The GPU instance may be outside India, in one of the countries listed in our Privacy Policy.
The files you upload are deleted automatically within 3 days, and the results we create within 10 days. A result stays available in the app for about a day; save it to your device if you want to keep it. The rented instance deletes your files as soon as your job ends. It is then kept ready for a few minutes and may process the next photo or video job, which may be your own or another user's, before it is terminated and removed. Live sessions are different: a live instance is only ever used for one user.
Our retention practices and the records we keep are explained below and in our Privacy Policy.
2. Who may use Vizae and which faces you may use
This beta is available only to invited users aged 18 or older who are located in India. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Use your own face, or another adult's face only with that person's informed permission for the particular use. Their permission must cover sending their photograph or camera image to third-party computers, potentially outside India, for the processing described above. You must also have permission to use the photograph itself.
Do not submit images of children or capture people who have not agreed to this processing. Do not use Vizae for fraud, deceptive impersonation, harassment, sexual exploitation, or sexual, abusive or unlawful content. If someone withdraws their permission, stop using their face.
3. Results are artificially altered
Vizae uses AI to alter the appearance of faces in live previews, photos and videos. A result does not establish that the person whose face appears actually performed, said or endorsed anything shown.
Do not present transformed content as authentic. If you save, record or share it, clearly identify it as AI-altered and obtain any additional permissions needed for that use.
4. Beta availability and responsibility
Vizae is an experimental service. Results may contain errors, distortions or unexpected changes. Availability, features and usage limits may change, and sessions may be interrupted or ended. We may suspend access for misuse or to protect users and the service.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free results or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, or limits our responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct or failure to meet applicable privacy and data-security obligations.
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes may be brought before courts or other competent authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.
5. Information we retain
We retain your sign-in account identifier, the start and stop times of live sessions and photo or video jobs, whether a job succeeded, the processing instance used, usage duration, operational counters and records of which version of these terms you accepted and when. We use these records to operate the beta, enforce limits, investigate faults or misuse, and demonstrate acceptance.
For live sessions, Vizae does not store your source photograph or camera video. For photo and video face swaps, we store the files you upload for up to 3 days and the results for up to 10 days, as described in section 1, and then delete them; the records above do not include the media itself. Our sign-in service keeps the email address of the Google account you sign in with, so that you can sign in; the Vizae account itself does not store it. If you email us, we will receive and retain the information in that correspondence as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains retention periods, deletion, service providers and any records we must retain to comply with law.
6. Your choices, withdrawal and complaints
You may decline these terms; face-processing features will then remain unavailable. You can stop a live session, or cancel a photo or video job, at any time.
You may withdraw permission for future face processing by contacting privacy@xalgox.site. You may also delete your account through Account settings, including without accepting these terms. Stopping a session does not itself delete your account.
For access, correction, deletion requests or complaints, contact Renjith Sasidharan at privacy@xalgox.site. We will address complaints promptly and within one month of receipt. Account deletion and withdrawal do not require us to erase records that must lawfully be retained; the applicable periods and reasons are stated in our Privacy Policy.
